Post-construction cleaning is not one clean. Trade dust is fine enough to stay airborne for hours and then settle again, silicone and render splatter need mechanical removal rather than wiping, and protective film left on glass or fixtures becomes progressively harder to remove the longer the sun has been on it.
We work in stages. The rough clean clears construction debris and bulk dust once the trades are largely out. The detail clean takes every surface, fixture, cupboard and window frame individually. The final clean happens as close to handover as the program allows, catching the dust that has settled since and the marks made by the last trades through.
It's work we do across new builds, display homes, commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and multi-unit residential developments. Builders who use us regularly do so because the handover date doesn't move — the clean is scheduled into the program rather than squeezed in after it.
The single biggest cause of a failed handover inspection is a site cleaned once, too early. Dust that was airborne during the clean settles overnight and the site looks untouched by morning. Staged cleaning is what actually delivers a clean handover.

When should the builders clean be scheduled?
Book it in stages rather than as one visit. Rough clean once the bulk of trades are out, detail clean after the final fix, and a light final clean as close to handover as the program allows. Sites that book a single clean two weeks out almost always need a second one.
Do you remove stickers and protective film?
Yes, and it's worth doing early. Film and adhesive left on glass and fixtures through an Adelaide summer bakes on and becomes far harder to remove without scratching. If the site is ready for it, we'd rather strip film sooner.
Can you clean multi-unit developments?
Yes. Townhouse, apartment and unit developments are handled unit by unit with common areas scheduled separately, so completed units can be handed over progressively rather than waiting on the whole building.
Do you handle rubbish removal?
We clear construction debris and packaging as part of the rough clean and consolidate it to your site bins or waste contractor's collection point. Bulk waste removal or skip supply is quoted separately if you need us to arrange it.
How much does a builders clean cost?
It comes down to floor area, the stage you're booking, and how much render, silicone and grout haze is on the surfaces. We quote from the plans plus a site visit. Booking the full staged program up front is materially cheaper than calling us back three times.
