Service 10 — On-Call Cleaners
On-call and after-hours cleaners
Burst pipe, a function that ran long, a failed inspection tomorrow morning, or a cleaner who didn't turn up. When you need people at short notice, we have a network to draw from.

Overview
About our on-call cleaners.
The value of a large vetted network is that it can absorb a phone call at 6pm. Most cleaning businesses are running exactly the number of people their contracts require, so a short-notice request means someone's regular site loses their cleaner. Ours doesn't work that way — with 50-plus vetted cleaners on the network there's genuine capacity to reallocate.
On-call work covers a wide range. Spills and incidents that need clearing before the site can reopen. Post-event turnarounds where a venue has to be reset overnight. Cover when your regular provider has left you short. And the fairly common call from a site that has an inspection, an audit or a VIP visit in the morning and knows it isn't ready.
For anything involving water damage, biological material or hazardous substances, tell us on the phone. Those need specific handling and PPE, and in some cases a specialist rather than a cleaning crew — we'd rather tell you that up front than send the wrong people.
Short-notice work is arranged by phone. Ring 0410 922 665 with the site address, what's happened and when you need it clear, and you'll get a straight answer about whether we can crew it and what it will cost.

Why us
Why sites book on-call cleaners with THNZL.
Capacity to reallocate
A 50-plus cleaner network means short notice doesn't mean stripping another site's crew.
Vetted, not scraped together
On-call crews come from the same vetted, compliant network as our contract cleaners.
Our own machines
Extractors, scrubbers and pressure washers are on hand, not subject to a hire depot's opening hours.
A straight answer
You'll be told on the call whether we can do it and roughly what it costs, rather than being left waiting.
The payoff
What you get out of it.
Reopen sooner
An area out of service costs more per hour than the callout does. Getting it clear fast is the cheap option.
Cover a gap
A provider walking away from a contract stops being a crisis when someone can crew it this week.
Protect the schedule
One-off problems get solved without disrupting your ongoing cleaning roster.
Handle the unplanned
Site inspections, incidents and last-minute visits stop depending on whoever's available.

FAQs
On-Call Cleaners — your questions.
How quickly can you get someone on site?
It depends on the time, the location and what's needed. Metropolitan Adelaide during business hours is often same-day. After hours and on weekends we'll tell you honestly on the phone what we can do rather than promising a time we can't hold.
Do you charge more for after-hours work?
After-hours and short-notice work is priced above standard contract rates because it involves calling people in outside their rostered hours. You get the figure before we commit anyone, not on an invoice afterwards.
Do we need an existing contract?
No. On-call work is available to anyone. Existing contract clients do get priority when capacity is tight, which is one of the practical benefits of being on an ongoing arrangement.
Can you handle water damage or biohazards?
We handle water clean-up and general incident response. Anything involving biological material, sewage or hazardous substances needs specific handling and PPE — tell us what's involved on the call and we'll either crew it properly or point you to the right specialist. We won't send a general crew into a job that needs a specialist.
Can you cover a site while we change providers?
Yes, that's a regular request. We can pick up a site at short notice on a temporary basis while you run a proper tender, with no obligation to make it permanent.
