About our carpet cleaning.
Commercial carpet fails from the bottom up. Grit walked in from the car park works its way to the base of the pile and abrades the fibre every time someone steps on it, which is why high-traffic lanes go flat and grey long before the rest of the floor does. No amount of vacuuming reaches it.
We run hot-water extraction — the method carpet manufacturers specify for warranty maintenance. Pre-spray to break down the soil, agitate where the traffic lanes need it, then extract with enough heat and vacuum lift to pull the suspended dirt and most of the moisture back out in one pass.
The practical result is carpet that dries in hours rather than overnight, so we can clean a floor after close and have it walkable before your staff arrive. For sites that genuinely cannot be closed, we run low-moisture encapsulation on the traffic lanes as an interim treatment between full extractions.
Carpet left damp overnight in a sealed office is how you get the musty smell people associate with carpet cleaning. Proper extraction removes the water it puts down. Ours typically walks dry in two to four hours depending on pile and airflow.

FAQs
Carpet Cleaning — your questions.
How often should commercial carpet be cleaned?
High-traffic areas — entries, corridors, reception — generally need extraction every three to six months. General office floor plates run six to twelve months. If your carpet is under warranty, check the manufacturer's schedule, because most of them require documented professional cleaning at set intervals.
How long does carpet take to dry?
Two to four hours in most commercial spaces. Dense pile, humid weather or a room with no airflow will push that out. We can bring air movers if the floor has to be back in service quickly.
Will cleaning damage or shrink the carpet?
Not with the right method for the fibre. We check what the carpet is before we start — wool, nylon and olefin all behave differently, and a few backings shouldn't be saturated at all. That's what the pre-inspection is for.
Can you remove every stain?
No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling. Soil-based marks almost always come out. Dye-based spills, bleach damage and long-set red drinks may have permanently altered the fibre colour. We test first and tell you what to expect.
Do you clean carpet tiles?
Yes. Modular tiles clean well under extraction, and they have the advantage that individually ruined tiles can be swapped out rather than replacing a whole floor. If you have spares, tell us and we'll swap them while we're there.
Do we need to move the furniture?
Clear desktops and personal items; we handle the rest. We move and replace light furniture as part of the job. Heavy or fixed items are cleaned around unless you've arranged for them to be moved beforehand.
